Acts 26

Before Agrippa, Paul gives a full and eloquent defense, recounting his life as a Pharisee, his conversion, and his commission to open the eyes of Jews and Gentiles, “that they may turn from darkness to light... and receive forgiveness of sins.” He testifies that he preaches nothing but what Moses and the prophets said would come — that the Christ must suffer and rise. Agrippa says, “In a short time would you persuade me to be a Christian?” and agrees Paul could have been freed had he not appealed to Caesar.
