The daughters of Jerusalem offer to help her seek him, but she knows where he is, “gone down to his garden,” for “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine.” The beloved renews his praise of her beauty, declaring her unique among all women — “my dove, my perfect one, is the only one” — and the two are joyfully reunited in mutual admiration.
