Psalms study chapter

Psalms 90

Moses; wisdomGod’s eternity and human frailty: “teach us to number our days,” opening Book 4.

Moses’ psalm, the oldest, contrasts the eternal God, to whom a thousand years are as a day, with the frailty of man, whose life is soon gone. It prays, “Teach us to number our days, that we may get a heart of wisdom,” and asks God to satisfy His people with His steadfast love and establish the work of their hands.
