Psalms 109

David; imprecationA cry for justice against a lying accuser, entrusting the case to God.

An intense imprecatory psalm in which David, repaid evil for good and love with hatred, calls down judgment on his lying accuser and entrusts the case to God. Poor and needy, with his heart stricken, he asks God to save him, that they may know it is the LORD’s hand, and he will praise Him in the throng.
