The remaining lots fall to Simeon (within Judah’s territory), Zebulun, Issachar, Asher, Naphtali, and Dan, whose people later migrate north. When every tribe has its inheritance, the people give Joshua his own city, Timnath-serah in the hill country of Ephraim, which he builds and settles.
