Job 37

Elihu’s speech climaxes in a breathtaking description of God in the thunderstorm — the lightning, the thunder as His voice, the snow and rain and whirlwind — all showing that God does great things beyond our understanding. He calls Job to stop and consider the wondrous works of God, whom we cannot find out, who is “clothed with awesome majesty,” and to bow in reverent fear. His words unknowingly usher in the LORD Himself.
