Jeremiah 25

In a pivotal summary after twenty-three years of unheeded preaching, Jeremiah foretells that Judah will serve Babylon and that “these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years,” after which Babylon itself will be judged. He is then shown the cup of God’s wrath, which all the nations must drink.
