Jeremiah study chapter

Jeremiah 26

c. 609 BCJeremiah threatened with death for the temple sermon, but spared.

When Jeremiah repeats the temple sermon, the priests and prophets seize him and demand his death, but certain officials and elders defend him, recalling that Micah had prophesied similarly without being killed. Jeremiah is spared, though another prophet, Uriah, is executed for the same message, showing the danger of God’s true word.
