Woe to Ariel (Jerusalem), which the LORD will besiege and bring low, so that its wisdom vanishes and its worship is hollow — “this people draw near with their mouth... while their hearts are far from me.” Yet a day is coming when the deaf will hear, the blind see, the meek rejoice, and the erring gain understanding, for the LORD will yet be sanctified among His people.
