Hosea study chapter

Hosea 3

c. 750 BCHosea redeems his adulterous wife, a picture of God’s persistent love for Israel.

The LORD tells Hosea to go again and love an adulterous woman, buying her back for a price, “even as the LORD loves the children of Israel, though they turn to other gods.” Hosea redeems Gomer and calls her to faithfulness, a living picture of God’s persistent love, and of Israel dwelling many days without king or sacrifice before returning to seek the LORD in the latter days.
