Acts 28

On Malta, Paul is unharmed by a viper’s bite and heals the sick, and the islanders honor them. After three months they sail on and reach Rome, where Paul is allowed to live under guard by himself. He calls the Jewish leaders together and testifies about Jesus from the Law and the Prophets; some believe and some do not, and Paul declares that God’s salvation has been sent to the Gentiles. The book ends with Paul in Rome for two years, “proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness and without hindrance.”
