Acts 18

In Corinth, Paul stays a year and a half, working as a tentmaker with Aquila and Priscilla and teaching the word, encouraged by the Lord’s promise, “I have many in this city who are my people.” When dragged before the proconsul Gallio, the charge is dismissed. Paul then sails back toward Antioch, ending the second journey, and soon sets out on the third. The eloquent Apollos is more fully instructed by Priscilla and Aquila and powerfully proves that Jesus is the Christ.
