Jehoshaphat allies himself with wicked Ahab of Israel by marriage and agrees to join him against Ramoth-gilead. When Jehoshaphat asks for a word from the LORD, four hundred prophets promise success, but Micaiah alone foretells disaster. Disguised, Ahab is killed by a random arrow as prophesied, while Jehoshaphat barely escapes, learning the danger of unequal alliances.
