Song of Solomon 3

c. 960 BCThe bride seeks her beloved in the night and finds him, and the royal wedding procession approaches.

The bride recounts seeking her beloved through the city streets by night, restless until she found him and would not let him go. The scene then shifts to a splendid wedding procession — the couch of Solomon coming up from the wilderness, carried by sixty warriors, crowned on his wedding day — celebrating the joy and honor of covenant marriage.
