Accompanied by the Twelve and by women who support the ministry, Jesus teaches the parable of the sower and the lamp, and defines His family as those who hear and do God’s word. He stills a storm with a word, frees the Gerasene demoniac from a legion of demons, heals a woman who touches His garment in faith, and raises Jairus’s daughter, telling her, “Child, arise.”
