Luke 13

Jesus calls all to repent or likewise perish, and tells the parable of the barren fig tree given one more year. He heals a bent-over woman on the Sabbath, silencing the indignant ruler, and teaches that the kingdom grows like a mustard seed and leaven. Warned about Herod, He presses on toward Jerusalem, and laments over the city that kills the prophets: “How often would I have gathered your children together... and you would not!”
