Joshua study chapter

Joshua 17

c. 1399 BCThe inheritance of Manasseh, including the daughters of Zelophehad, as Joseph’s tribes ask for more land.

Manasseh’s inheritance is set out, including the bold request of the daughters of Zelophehad for the portion promised them. The tribes of Joseph complain that their allotment is too small, and Joshua tells them to clear the forested hill country and to trust God to drive out the Canaanites with their iron chariots.
