Jabin of Hazor gathers a vast northern coalition with horses and chariots, but the LORD gives them into Israel’s hand at the waters of Merom. Joshua hamstrings the horses, burns Hazor, and takes the whole land — the hill country, the Negeb, and the valleys — leaving none of the LORD’s commands to Moses undone.
