John study chapter

John 10

c. AD 29Jesus is “the good shepherd” who lays down His life for the sheep, one with the Father.

Jesus teaches that He is “the door” of the sheep and “the good shepherd” who lays down His life for the sheep, knows them by name, and gives them eternal life, from which no one can snatch them. He says, “I and the Father are one,” and again the leaders take up stones, charging Him with blasphemy for making Himself God. Jesus withdraws across the Jordan, where many believe in Him.
