Job 5

Eliphaz warns that folly and resentment destroy the fool, and counsels Job to seek God, who does great and unsearchable things, wounding and then binding up. He describes the blessings God gives to the one He corrects — “blessed is the one whom God reproves” — urging Job to receive his suffering as fatherly discipline and be restored, still assuming Job needs correcting.
