Job study chapter

Job 34

patriarchal eraElihu defends the justice of God, who repays everyone according to their ways.

Elihu takes up the defense of God’s justice, insisting that the Almighty never does wrong and repays everyone according to their deeds, for He sees all and is answerable to no one. He rebukes Job for saying it profits nothing to delight in God and for speaking as though God were unjust, calling him to recognize that God’s governance of the world is perfectly righteous even when hidden.
