Isaiah study chapter

Isaiah 57

ZionRebuke of idolatry, and peace and healing for the humble and contrite.

While the righteous perish unnoticed and enter peace, the LORD indicts the idolaters of Israel for their spiritual adultery, their child sacrifice, and their trust in false gods that cannot save. Yet He promises to dwell “with him who is of a contrite and lowly spirit,” to heal and comfort the humble, and declares, “Peace, peace, to the far and to the near,” while “there is no peace... for the wicked.”
