Isaiah 43

God speaks words of redeeming love to Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine,” promising to be with them through waters and fire. He declares Himself their only Savior — “besides me there is no savior” — who will do a “new thing,” make a way in the wilderness, and blot out their transgressions for His own sake.
