A sweeping oracle of God’s wrath against all the nations, whose host will rot away and whose land will be soaked with blood, focused especially on Edom as an emblem of God’s enemies. Its cities will lie desolate forever, a haunt of wild creatures, as the LORD executes the judgment written in His book.
