A brighter word: a king will reign in righteousness and princes rule in justice, and eyes and ears that were closed will be opened. Complacent women are warned of coming distress, “until the Spirit is poured upon us from on high,” which will transform the wilderness into a fruitful field and yield the peace, quietness, and trust of righteousness.
