An oracle against Tyre and Sidon, the proud Phoenician merchant cities whose wealth spans the seas, humbled by the LORD “to defile the pompous pride of all glory.” After seventy years Tyre will be restored, but its commerce will at last be dedicated as holy to the LORD.
