Isaiah study chapter

Isaiah 16

c. 715 BCA plea for mercy on Moab, refused because of Moab’s pride.

Moab is urged to seek shelter and send tribute to Zion, and a promise is glimpsed of a throne established in steadfast love in David’s tent. But because of Moab’s great pride and boasting, its ruin is confirmed, and Isaiah laments the withering of its vineyards and joy.
