Ezekiel 4

God commands a series of sign-acts. Ezekiel draws Jerusalem on a brick and lays siege to it, lies on his left side 390 days and his right side 40 days to bear the punishment of Israel and Judah, and eats measured, defiled rations, dramatizing the famine and defilement of the coming siege.
