Ezekiel 3

Ezekiel eats the scroll, and it is “as sweet as honey” in his mouth, for God’s word is good even when its message is hard. The Spirit lifts him up and returns him to the exiles, where he sits overwhelmed for seven days, and God appoints him a “watchman for the house of Israel,” accountable to warn the wicked so that their blood is not on his hands.
