Ezekiel study chapter

Ezekiel 20

591 BCIsrael’s long history of rebellion, and God’s acting for the sake of His name.

When elders come to inquire, God rehearses Israel’s long history of rebellion — in Egypt, in the wilderness, and in the land — and how, again and again, He acted “for the sake of my name” rather than destroy them. He announces both judgment and a future gathering, when He will bring them into “the bond of the covenant” and be sanctified among them.
