Ezekiel study chapter

Ezekiel 12

592 BCSign-acts of exile, and the warning that the prophecy will not be delayed.

Ezekiel enacts exile, digging through a wall and carrying his baggage out at night with his face covered, a sign that the prince and people of Jerusalem will go into captivity. He rebukes the proverb that “the days grow long, and every vision comes to nothing,” declaring that God’s word will now be fulfilled without delay.
