Ephesians 3

Paul, “a prisoner for Christ Jesus on behalf of you Gentiles,” explains the mystery revealed to him: that the Gentiles are “fellow heirs, members of the same body,” through the gospel — a mystery hidden for ages but now made known through the church, “so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might... be made known” even to the heavenly powers. He then prays that the church, rooted and grounded in love, would have power to grasp the vast dimensions of Christ’s love and “be filled with all the fullness of God,” closing with a doxology: “Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think... to him be glory in the church.”
