Saul, breathing threats against the disciples, is struck down by a blinding light on the road to Damascus, where the risen Jesus asks, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?” Blinded and humbled, Saul is sent to Ananias, who lays hands on him; he is filled with the Spirit, baptized, and at once begins proclaiming Jesus as the Son of God, astonishing everyone. Meanwhile Peter, traveling, heals the paralyzed Aeneas and raises Dorcas (Tabitha) to life, and many believe.
