Paul continues on giving, urging that the promised gift be ready as a willing blessing, not an exaction. He states the principle, “whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully,” and that “God loves a cheerful giver.” God is able to make all grace abound to the giver, supplying and multiplying their resources so they can be generous in every way, and their generosity “is producing thanksgiving to God” and overflowing in praise. He ends, “Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift!”
