1. The Unveiling and Supremacy of Christ

Revelation reveals Jesus in glory — the risen, reigning Lord who holds the keys of death, walks among His churches, and is worthy of all worship. Its central purpose is to display the majesty of the exalted Christ.

2. The Worthy Lamb Who Was Slain

At the center of heaven’s worship stands “the Lamb who was slain,” who conquered by His atoning death and ransomed a people from every nation. The crucified Christ is the key to all of God’s purposes in history.

3. God’s Sovereign Judgment on Evil

Through the seals, trumpets, and bowls, and the fall of Babylon, Revelation proclaims that God reigns over history and will surely judge all wickedness. No empire, beast, or dragon can finally stand against Him.

4. The Perseverance of the Saints

To a persecuted church, Revelation is a call to “conquer” by faithful endurance, even unto death. God seals and protects His people, and those who overcome will share in Christ’s victory and reward.

5. The Return of Christ and Final Victory

The book builds to the glorious return of Christ as King of kings, who defeats every enemy, judges the living and the dead, and casts Satan, death, and the wicked into the lake of fire. Evil is decisively and finally overthrown.

6. New Creation and God Dwelling With His People

The story ends not in destruction but in restoration: “a new heaven and a new earth,” where God dwells with His people, the curse is undone, death is no more, and the redeemed see His face and reign with Him forever.
