Psalms 77

Asaph; lament, trust“Has God forgotten to be gracious?” answered by remembering His deeds.

Asaph, in the day of trouble, cannot be comforted and asks, “Has God forgotten to be gracious?” The turning point is deliberate remembrance: “I will remember the deeds of the LORD,” especially the exodus, when God’s way was through the sea and He led His people like a flock.
