Psalms 16

David; trust, messianicThe LORD is his chosen portion, who will not let His Holy One see corruption.

David takes refuge in the LORD as his chosen portion and inheritance, whose presence brings fullness of joy. Its climax — “you will not abandon my soul to Sheol, or let your holy one see corruption” — is preached by Peter and Paul as a prophecy of Christ’s resurrection.
