David; trustRefusing to flee, David rests in the LORD who is in His holy temple and tests mankind.

When advised to flee like a bird to the mountains as the wicked bend their bows, David refuses, for “in the LORD I take refuge.” The LORD is in His holy temple, testing the righteous and hating violence, and the upright shall behold His face.
