Proverbs finds its fulfillment in Christ:

• The wisdom of God: The personified Wisdom of chapter 8, present at creation, points to Christ, “the wisdom of God,” through whom all things were made and in whom all treasures of wisdom are hidden (1 Corinthians 1:24, 30; Colossians 1:16; 2:3).
• Greater than Solomon: Jesus is the wise King greater than Solomon, to whom the wisdom of Proverbs ultimately leads (Matthew 12:42).
• The two ways: The paths of wisdom and folly are taken up by Jesus as the narrow and wide roads, and the house built on rock or sand (Matthew 7:13-27).
