Judah’s large inheritance is mapped from the Dead Sea to the Mediterranean. Caleb drives the giants from Hebron and offers his daughter Achsah to whoever takes Debir; Othniel does so and wins her, and she asks her father for springs of water. Judah, however, cannot dislodge the Jebusites from Jerusalem.
