Ezekiel study chapter

Ezekiel 48

573 BCThe allotment of the land to the tribes, and the city named “The LORD Is There.”

The final vision allots the land in orderly strips to the twelve tribes on either side of the central holy district, with the temple and city at its heart. The book ends on its highest note: the city’s twelve gates are named for the tribes, and “the name of the city from that time on shall be, The LORD Is There” — the goal of all Ezekiel’s visions, God dwelling with His people forever.
