Ezekiel 28

God addresses the proud prince of Tyre, who says, “I am a god,” and announces that he will die like a man at the hands of foreigners. A lament over the king of Tyre, using imagery of an anointed guardian cherub in Eden who was cast down for pride, exposes the arrogance behind the city, followed by a short oracle against Sidon; and God promises to gather and secure His own people.
