Ezekiel study chapter

Ezekiel 1

593 BCBy the Chebar canal Ezekiel sees the glory of the LORD enthroned above a chariot of living creatures and wheels.

Among the exiles by the Chebar canal, Ezekiel sees the heavens opened and an overwhelming vision: a stormy cloud flashing fire, four living creatures each with four faces and wings, gleaming wheels within wheels full of eyes, and above them a crystal expanse bearing a throne. On the throne is a figure of gleaming fire, radiant like the rainbow — “the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD” — and Ezekiel falls on his face, for the glory of God has come to him in Babylon.
