David sets out to bring the ark to Jerusalem, but when it is carried improperly on a cart and Uzzah reaches out to steady it, the LORD strikes him dead, teaching the holiness of His presence. After three months David brings it up the right way, dancing before the LORD with all his might; his wife Michal despises him for it and is left childless.
