The Spirit of God comes on Azariah, who meets Asa with the word, “The LORD is with you while you are with him... if you seek him, he will be found by you.” Encouraged, Asa deepens his reforms, repairs the altar, and gathers all Judah to a great covenant to seek the LORD with all their heart, even removing his idolatrous grandmother; and the land enjoys peace.
