1 Peter 1:3 “He has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.”

A living hope

1 Peter 1:15-16 “As he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, ’You shall be holy, for I am holy.’”

The call to holiness

1 Peter 2:9 “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession.”

The identity of God’s people

1 Peter 2:24 “He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.”
